How to write a Helpdesk ticket

Writing a Helpdesk ticket is no easy task.  

You have to include

  • Who you are
  • What your problem is
  • How did you get the problem or what you did to get your problem
  • Your tech stack (I.e. what programs you are using, if it's a tech problem)

So say for example you want a tax clearance certificate.  You can get hold of Sarebi like this:

Hi 
I'm Joe from Joe's Trading.
I'd like a tax clearance certificate as of 1 February 2026.
This is to certify that I'm a valid trader for Jane's Boutique

Now let's take an Odoo problem: you want your database to accept vendor bills.

Hi
I'm Joe from Joe's Trading.
I want to be able to let Odoo bring in my vendor bills automatically.
It's currently not doing that.  
When I click into Accounts in Odoo, I want to be able to see my vendor bills automatically.
I have Google Workspace and I'm using Microsoft IE as a web browser.
